Bio

Laurie trained in Medicine and continues to do clinical work as an Honorary Consultant Nephrologist at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust. Having trained as a specialist she worked as a clinical lecturer at the University of Cambridge before moving to LSHTM to take the MSc in epidemiology. She joined LSHTM in 2013 after gaining a Wellcome Trust Intermediate fellowship.
