Bio

Prof. Babatunde Salako is a physician and epidemiologist committed to addressing kidney disease and hypertension in Africa. He is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Ibadan and former Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research. He has pubished over 250 publications highlighting his work across renal replacement therapy and clinical trials. Prof. Salako represents Nigeria on the General Assembly of the European and Developing Country Clinical Trial Partnership (EDCTP) and was a member of the WHO/TDR Joint Coordinating Board/TDR Standing Committee.
